云冈石窟早期圆拱龛的认定——昙曜五窟早期圆拱龛探讨之一

Identification of Early Round Arch Niches in Yungang Grottoes——Studies of the Early Round Arch Niches in Tan Yao Grottoes(Ⅰ)

以昙曜五窟壁面雕刻圆拱佛龛为主要考察对象,通过参考洞窟内的早期主要造像特征、各种造像包括佛龛间互相之间的打破关系、并与中晚期佛龛相比较,进一步区分出早期圆拱佛龛,并运用考古类型学方法对其龛形、各类造像进行排比,论述早期圆拱佛龛的特点并推测圆拱龛之来源。

Taking the round arched niches carved on the wall of Tanyao Grottoes as the main object of investigation,this paper further distinguishes the early round arched niches by referring to the characteristics of the early main statues in the grottoes,breaking the relationship between various statues including niches,and comparing them with those in the middle and late periods,and discusses the characteristics of the early round arched niches by using the method of ancient typology.The origin of the round arch niche is thus speculated.
