The necessity of hot metal pretreatment and the development of hot metal desulfurization by KR process are introduced.The development of desulfurizer for hot metal desulfurization by KR process is described,and the future research direction and goal of desulfurizer are put forward.At the same time,the feeding methods of desulfurizer are compared in order to choose the appropriate feeding methods.
