A Study on Maintaining National Unity and Strengthening Ethnic solidarity as the Focus of Work in Tibet

我国自古以来就是一个统一的多民族国家,把维护祖国统一、加强民族团结作为西藏工作的着眼点和着力点,抓住了西藏社会稳定和长治久安的关键。西藏人民在历史上就有维护祖国统一、加强民族团结的历史传统,它是各族人民的共同心愿,是不可阻挡的历史潮流。在西藏革命、建设和改革的各个历史时期,维护祖国统一、加强民族团结都是党做好西藏工作的策略重点,是新时代党的治藏方略的重要内容。推进西藏长治久安和高质量发展,必须把维护祖国统一、加强民族团结作为西藏工作的着眼点和着力点,广泛开展反分裂斗争教育,加强学校思想政治教育,深入推进中华民族共同历史教育,引导各族群众不断铸牢中华民族共同体意识,促进各民族交往交流交融。

Since ancient times,China is a unified multi-ethnic country.Safeguarding national unity and strengthening ethnic solidarity as the focus and rallying point of Tibet’s work is the key to Tibet’s social stability and long-term peace.Tibetan people have the sense of safeguarding national unity and strengthening ethnic solidarity.These senses are the common wish of the people of all ethnic groups in China and an irresistible historical trend.In the various historical periods of Tibet’s revolution,construction,and reform,maintain the national unity and national solidarity are the crucial strategic points of the Party carrying out work in Tibet,and it is an important content of the Party’s Tibet strategy in the new era.In order to promote Tibet’s long-term stability and high-quality development,safeguarding the national unity and strengthening national solidarity must be regarded as the focus and rallying point of Tibet’s work,people’s education of struggling against separatism need to be extensively carried out,schools’ideological and political education must be strengthened,education of the common history of the Chinese nation should be promoted.In this way,these actions could lead all ethnic groups to develop the sense of community for the Chinese nation and increasing association,communication and fusion among nationalities.
