人类学视野下对20世纪前半叶在藏尼瓦尔人的考察

An Ethnographic Study of the Newars People in Xizang in the FirstHalf of the 20th Century

尼瓦尔人是尼泊尔众多民族之一,自清初起即在从事我国西藏和尼泊尔之间的跨境贸易。19世纪末,部分尼瓦尔人因多重因素影响而离开尼泊尔,赴藏经商与生活。在藏尼瓦尔人一生会举行诸多仪式,这些仪式既承载着集体的历史记忆,又强化了尼瓦尔人的历史文化认同。作为他者,在藏的尼瓦尔人也记述了20世纪前半叶西藏的社会与生活。对20世纪前半叶在藏尼瓦尔人的研究,有助于深化中尼友好合作关系,促进中尼两国之间的文化交流与学术研究。

The Newars People,one of many ethnic groups in Nepal,have been engaged in cross-border trade between China’s Xizang and Nepal since the early Qing Dynasty.At the end of the 19th century,due to multiple factors,some Newars people left Nepal to do business and live in China’s Xizang.The Newars people in Xizang hold many rituals throughout their lives,which not only carries the collective historical memory,but also strengthen the historical and cultural identity of the Newars people.As the other,the Newars people in Xizang also chronicled Xizang society and life in the first half of the 20th century.The study of the Newars people in Xizang in the first half of the 20th century is conducive to deepening the friendly and cooperative relations between China and Nepal and promoting cultural exchanges and academic research between the two countries.
