滚冰是我国北方老百姓每年元宵节晚上在冰上开展的滚动身体的活动。它是一项独特的冬季民俗,也是一种典型的民族传统冰雪运动文化。采用文献资料法等,对滚冰民俗的起源与发展、基本特征、文化内涵以及重要价值进行分析,发现滚冰具有鲜明的地域性、节令性、民族性,具有祛病祈福、放纵狂欢、求偶交友等文化内涵。对滚冰民俗的传承和开发,有利于我国进一步发展冰雪运动,弘扬民族传统文化,为北京冬奥会的举办提供本土文化支持。

Ice-rolling is an activity of rolling the body on ice carried out by the common people in the north of China in the evening of the Lantern Festival every year.It is a unique winter folklore and a typical traditional national ice and snow sports culture.The origin and development,basic features,cultural connotations and important values of ice rolling folklore are analyzed by using literature method,etc.It is found that ice rolling has distinctive regional,seasonal and national characteristics,and has cultural connotations such as dispelling diseases and praying for good fortune,indulging in revelry and courting and making friends.The inheritance and development of ice rolling folklore are conducive to the further development of ice and snow sports in China,the promotion of traditional national culture,and the provision of local cultural support for the Beijing Winter Olympics.
