Digital Laborization of Farmer Users on Short Video Platforms

短视频平台对农村市场的开拓,原被期望着能够助力农民发声,但现实是农民在短视频平台上成了数字劳工。本文基于底层研究视角,从科技赋权、社会需求、经济需求等方面分析农民使用短视频平台的原因,试图探析农民在短视频平台的劳动过程,了解短视频平台的隐形剥削机制,呼吁讲述真正且完整的农民故事。

Short video platforms are widely used in rural areas,while providing farmers with the opportunity to express their opinions,it has turned farmers into digital laborers.Based on the perspective of subaltern study,this paper analyzes the reasons why farmers use short video platforms from the aspects of technological empowerment,social and economic needs,it also explores the labour process of farmers on short video platforms so as to make an attempts to understand the invisible exploitation mechanism of short video platforms.
