The Multifactorial Construction of “Mythicized Algorithm”in Intelligent Communication

智能算法重构了新闻传播的形态、业态及生态,也建构了一种技术理性与新闻客观性相融合的算法神话。智能算法及其技术逻辑嵌入传播实践,导致从经验主义到计算主义的"算法转向"。客观性想象、技术乌托邦以及计算主义转向,从不同维度建构了智能传播"算法神话"。

Intelligent algorithm has reconstructed the form of communication and journalism industry.Furthermore,a mythicized recognition has been simultaneously constructed considering the combination of instrumental rationality and journalistic objectivity.The embedment of algorithm and its technical logic in communication practice has caused an"algorithm shift"from empiricism to computationalism.This paper argues that the mythicized algorithm is constructed by multiple factors,namely,the 1)idealization of objectivity,2)the technological Utopianism,and 3)the paradigm shift to computationalism.
