Continuing Higher Education Should Keep Pace with the Times

"这是个不断变化、快速发展的时代,高校继续教育不能因循守旧,要跟随国家战略和学校发展方向修正定位,做到至少要与时代同步,甚至超前谋划。"华北电力大学继续教育学院院长王子杰认为,需要创新的思路和模式,在别人没想到时就想到,在别人想到时就做到。以这样的理念发展,继续教育才有生命力和活力。

"The continuing education schools in colleges and universities cannot follow the old routine.Rather,they should adapt to the national strategy and the universities’development goals,keep up with the times or even adopt a forward-looking approach in planning,"said Wang Zijie,dean of the School of Continuing Education,North China Electric Power University.He also pointed out that only if we adopt an innovative approach can the continuing education sector survive and thrive.
