Expression and clinical significance of lncRNA GAS5 in esophageal carcinoma

目的lncRNA GAS5在食管癌组织中表达及临床意义。方法回顾性分析2017年2月-2018年4月新疆医科大学第一附属医院行手术治疗的54例食管癌患者临床资料,采用实时定量PCR检测食管癌组织、癌旁组织lncRNA GAS5表达水平;以患者性别年龄、性别、肿瘤部位、分化程度、淋巴结转,临床分期等作为观察指标,分析lncRNA GAS5与临床资料的关系。结果食管癌旁组织lncRNA GAS5相对表达量(1.36±041),食管癌组织lncRNA GAS5相对表达量(0.35±0.14),食管癌组织lncRNA GAS5相对表达量显著低于正常组织(P<0.05)。与临床资料分析显示lncRNA GAS5表达越高,与患者年龄、性别、分化、淋巴结转移等无显著相关性,但与肿瘤的TNM分期具有显著相关性(P<0.05)。结论lncRNA GAS在食管癌组织表达水平低于高于正常组织,且lncRNA GAS5表达越高,与患者年龄、性别、分化、淋巴结转移等无显著相关性,但与肿瘤的TNM分期具有显著相关性(P<0.05),患者预后越差。lncRNA GAS5可以作为食管癌诊断及预后评价的指标之一。

Objective To investigate the expression of lncRNA GAS5 in esophageal carcinoma and its clinical significance.Methods The clinical data of 54 patients with esophageal cancer who underwent surgical treatment in the first affiliated hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from February 2017 to April 2018 were analyzed retrospectively.The expression level of lncRNA GAS5 in esophageal cancer tissues and adjacent tissues was detected by real-time quantitative PCR method.Thesex,age,tumor location,differentiation,lymph node metastasis,and clinical stage of patients were observed,and the relationship between lncRNA GAS5 and clinical data was analyzed.Results The relative expression of ln RNA GAS5in the adjacent tissues of esophageal carcinoma(1.36±041),the relative expression of lnc RNA GAS5 in the tissues of esophageal carcinoma(0.35±0.14),and the relative expression of lnc RNA GAS5 in the tissues of esophageal carcinoma were significantly lower than those in the normal tissues(P<0.05).The clinical data showed that the higher expression of lnc RNA GAS5 wasthe less correlation with the ages,sex,differentiation,lymph node metastasis of patients,but it had significantly correlation with the tumor TNM stage(P<0.05).Conclusion The expression level of lncRNA GAS in esophageal carcinoma is lower than that in normal tissues,and the expression level of lncRNA GAS 5 is not correlation with the age,sex,differentiation and lymph node metastasis of patients,but it has significant correlation with the TNM stage of tumors.And the higher expression level of lncRNA GAS 5 is,the worse the prognosis of patients has.lncRNA GAS5 can be used as one of the indicators for the diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of esophageal cancer.
