An Exploration and the People’s Republic of China’s Modernization Construction and Its Confidence in Its Own Path

新中国现代化建设是中国历史与世界历史发展的必然趋势。70年来,中国社会主义现代化建设历经"中国工业化道路""中国式的现代化"和"社会主义现代化强国"的探索而形成的中国特色社会主义道路,既不是西方资本主义国家现代化发展的翻版,也不是其他社会主义国家现代化道路的再版,而是中国共产党领导人民探索的适合中国国情的"创新版"。贯穿于这一探索过程中的从国情出发有步骤分阶段实现现代化的发展目标、以人民为中心不断解放和发展生产力、有序推动全方位对外开放、以自我革命的精神推进各方面制度的改革完善和从严治党提高党的执政能力,构成了中国特色社会主义道路自信的基因。

The modernization of the People’s Republic of China is an inevitable historical trend in both China and the world. Over the past 70 years, the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics has been formed by three stages of exploration :"China’s industrialization road", "Chinese-style modernization" and "Socialist modernization power". This path is neither a replica of the modernization of the Western capitalist countries nor a reprint of the modernization of other socialist countries,but an "innovative version" explored by Chinese people under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and suitable for China’s national conditions. The self-confidence in the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics runs through this process of exploration,consisting of realizing the modernization goals step by step based on the national conditions,liberating and developing productivity,promoting all-round reform and opening up,pushing for the improvement of various systems in the spirit of self-revolution,and strictly administering the party and improving the party’s ability to govern.
