民国时期武汉大学“作文”教学研究

Research on Writing Teaching in Wuhan University During the Republic of China

武汉大学向来重视对学生写作能力的培养,有其深厚的写作教学传统。民国时期,武汉大学设置了众多与写作(作文)相关的课程,任课教师有十余人。武汉大学图书馆、档案馆所藏1929年度至1949年度《国立武汉大学一览》、各院系《课程指导书》和《课目表》,详细记载了这些课程的"学程内容"等信息。从苏雪林1936年日记(手稿本)和叶绍钧《西行日记(上)》《嘉沪通信》等文献中,大体可了解武汉大学写作(作文)教学情况。全面、系统地梳理民国时期武汉大学写作(作文)教学的历史,对于当下写作学科建设具有重要的借鉴意义。

Wuhan University has always attached great importance to the cultivation of students’writing ability and has an extremely rich and profound writing teaching tradition.In the period of the republic of China,Wuhan University set up many courses related to writing,with more than ten teachers.From 1929 to 1949,the library and archives of Wuhan University have collected the List of National Wuhan University,course instructions and course lists of various departments,which record in detail the course contents and other information of these courses.From Su Xuelin’s Diary(manuscript)of 1936,Ye Shaojun’s Diary of the journey to the West and Jia-Hu Correspondence and other documents,we can get a general understanding of the teaching of writing in Wuhan University.A comprehensive and systematic review of the history of writing teaching in Wuhan University during the republic of China period is of great significance for the current writing discipline construction.
