摘要
《事林广记》是最初由南宋末年陈元靓编撰、元人不断增补的一部日用百科全书式的中国古代民间类书。书中包含大量俗字,代表了元代用字状况,其中不少俗字就是现在的简化字。然而学界目前对此书俗字关注度不高。本文首先考察了《事林广记》俗字的特点,认为其主要有任意性、浅俗性、类推性、趋简性等特点,并对某些俗字的合理性进行分析,从社会历史、文字演变及雕版印刷等方面解释《事林广记》俗字成因。
Shi Lin Guang Ji is an ancient Chinese folk encyclopedia compiled by Chen Yuanjing in the late Southern Song Dynasty and continuously supplemented by scholars in the Yuan Dynasty.It contains a large number of common characters that represent the usage of characters during the Yuan Dynasty,many of which are simplified characters used today.However,the academic attention to the common characters in this book is currently limited.This paper first examines the characteristics of common characters in Shi Lin Guang Ji,including arbitrariness,superficiality,analogy,and simplification,and analyzes the rationality of some of these characters.Furthermore,the paper explains the causes of common characters in Shi Lin Guang Ji from the perspectives of social history,character evolution,and woodblock printing.
