摘要
同源词与异形词界定有别,但在个案考察中不易判定两个词是同源关系还是异形关系。以清末民国方言俗语辞书中所见词汇现象为例,论述同源词与异形词判定问题,并论及同源词与异形词分析在方言词、俗语词研究方面的作用。
The definition of cognate words and heteromorphic words is different.However,in this case study,I suggest that it is not easy to determine whether the two words are cognate or heteromorphic.Taking the vocabulary phenomenon seen in the colloquial dialect dictionaries of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China as an example,this paper discusses the determination of cognate words and heteromorphic words.It also discusses the role of cognates and heteromorphic words in the study of dialects and colloquial words.
