王国维《高邮王怀祖先生训诂音韵书稿序录》考论

An Exploration of Wang Guowei's A Prefatory Note to the Manuscripts of Wang Niansun

本文首次利用王国维与罗振玉的往还书信,梳理王、罗两人在高邮王氏之学研究上的合作关系,并聚焦王国维在王念孙手稿校理与流布上所起的关键作用,考证王国维撰述《高邮王怀祖先生训诂音韵书稿序录》一文的缘起,并以笔者所见《叠韵转语》手稿原件的新材料,证成《序录》所拟王念孙古声二十三纽之说,借此揭示王国维在高邮王氏手稿研究上的创获与贡献。

This paper conducts research on the correspondences between Wang Guowei and Luo Zhenyu for the first time to sort out the collaborative relationship of the two scholars in the study of the Gaoyou Wangs.Besides,by focusing on the key role played by Wang Guowei in respect of Wang Niansun's manuscript collation and transmission,the origin of his writing titled A Prefatory Note to the Manuscripts of Wang Niansun is further investigated.Lastly,the new materials discovered by the author in the original manuscripts of Dieyun Zhuanyu are used to justify Wang Niansun's theory of 23 Initial Consonants in Archaic Chinese constructed in the Prefatory Note,aiming at revealing the unprecedented achievement and contribution of Wang Guowei regarding the study of the Gaoyou Wangs'manuscripts.
