Objective To evaluate the activity of carotid artery involvement in patients with arteritis by contrast-enhanced ultrasound.Method Fifteen patients with carotid artery involvement diagnosed in the First People’s Hospital of Jingmen from January 2018 to April 2019 were divided into active group and inactive group according to clinical criteria.Contrast-enhanced ultrasound was used to compare the contrast enhancement between the two groups.Result There were 10 patients in the active group,30 lesions,5 patients in the inactive group and 15 lesions. After further contrastenhanced ultrasound, the thickened arterial wall showed different degrees of enhancement, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography is of certain reference value in judging the disease activity of patients with carotid artery involvement in takayasu arteritis.
