摘要
产出导向法(POA)倡导的“学用一体”理念已在国内许多高校的通用英语课程中得到广泛实践,但其在ESP课堂中的应用和效果研究相对较少。文章首先总结了ESP教学中存在的包括学用分离、个体差异明显、课堂参与度低等痛点问题;探讨了POA教学法在ESP课程中的适用性。其次,将POA提倡的“驱动-促成-评价”教学流程应用于“飞行员英语陆空通话”的课堂设计中,并通过教学案例展示教学实施过程。最后,总结了POA教学法在解决教学痛点问题的具体作用和效果。
The“integration of learning and application”concept advocated by the Production-Oriented Approach(POA)has been widely practiced in general English courses at many universities in China.However,its application and effectiveness in ESP have been relatively less studied.This paper first summarizes the key issues in ESP teaching,including the separation of learning and application,significant individual differences,and low classroom participation,and explores the applicability of the POA teaching method in ESP courses.Subsequently,the“Motivation-Enabling-Assessment”teaching process proposed by POA is applied to the“English Radiotelephony for Pilots”classroom,with a teaching case demonstrating the implementation process.Finally,the paper summarizes the specific effects and outcomes of POA in addressing the identified teaching challenges.
