机器翻译与人工翻译在中国特色话语翻译中的对比分析——以二十大报告为例

A Comparative Analysis of Machine Translation and Human Translation of China-specific Discourse——A Case Study of the Report to the 20th CPC National Congress

在全球化进程中,确保中国特色话语的准确传播对促进跨文化交流和理解至关重要。本研究选取《中国日报》发布的“党的二十大报告”双语文本作为研究对象,运用谷歌翻译技术生成机器译文,并与专业人工翻译文本进行深入对比分析。本研究发现在处理文化负载词和用词精准性方面,机器翻译虽在速度上占优,但在准确性和文化适应性方面存在局限;而人工翻译则在深度理解和文化传递上展现出优势。通过具体案例的剖析,文章指出了两种翻译方式的互补性,并建议在中国特色话语的翻译实践中,应综合考虑机器翻译的速度和人工翻译的深度理解能力,以实现更高效、准确的翻译效果。

In the context of globalization,accurate communication of China-specific discourse holds importance in international exchanges.This paper takes the bilingual text of the report to the 20th CPC National Congress published by China Daily as the research subject.It employs Google translation technology to generate machine translations and conducts a thorough comparative analysis with professional human translations.The findings indicate that machine translation excels in speed in handling culture-loaded words and precise word usage,but it lags behind in accuracy and cultural sensitivity.Conversely,human translation prevails in its depth of understanding and cultural conveyance.Through the analysis of specific examples,this paper highlights the complementary of the two translation methods and advocates for a balanced approach to achieve more effective and accurate translation outcomes in the context of Chinese-specific discourse,leveraging the speed of machine translation and the comprehension capabilities of human translation.
