摘要
在国际交流的背景下,英语专业的学生不仅要有扎实的英语语言基础知识和基本技能,还需要具备用英语讲述中国故事、传播中国传统文化,并具有较强跨文化沟通交流的能力。将中国传统文化融入英语专业,讲好中国故事,将有助于培养中国学生的民族文化自信。自2000年从丛教授将在跨文化交际中存在的问题定义为“中国文化失语症”后,我国学者对这一方面的研究热度就一直居高不下。因此,“学生用英语传播中国传统文化”成为许多研究的焦点。文章以新疆农业大学英语专业大二和大三学生为研究对象,对英语专业学生用英语传播中国传统文化的情况进行调查研究,了解其应用现状,并探究其应对策略。
In the context of international communication,students of English majors should not only have a solid basic knowledge and skills of English language,but also have the ability to tell Chinese stories and spread Chinese traditional culture in English and have strong cross-cultural communication.Integrating traditional Chinese culture into English majors and telling Chinese stories well will help develop Chinese students'confidence in national culture.Since Professor Cong Cong defined the problems existing in cross-cultural communication as“Chinese cultural aphasia”in 2000,the research heat of Chinese scholars has been high.Therefore,“students spreading Chinese traditional culture in English”has become the focus of many studies.Taking sophomores and juniors of English majors in Xinjiang Agricultural University as the research objects,this paper investigates how English majors spread Chinese traditional culture in English,understands its application status,and explores its corresponding countermeasures.
