Researchon the Cultivation of College Students'Ability to Tell Xizang Chapter of Chinese stories in English in the New Era

新时代讲好中国故事成为高校思想政治教育行之有效的模式。通过用英语讲中国故事西藏篇章的方式能够深化西藏高校学生对国家的认同感、归属感,有助于学生树立正确政治立场和价值观。然而,当前西藏高校面临大学英语教学过于偏重西方文化的介绍与传播,忽略了中国文化在高校英语教学中的作用。文章从西藏高校学生用英语讲好中国故事西藏篇章的必要性入手,对中国故事西藏篇章的内容定位进行了分析,以期为我国高校英语教学改革,尤其是西藏高校英语教学改革提供借鉴。

Telling Chinese stories well in the new era has become an effective avenue to carry out ideological and political education in colleges and universities.By telling the Xizang chapter of Chinese stories in English,college students in Xizang can deepen their sense of identity and belonging to the country.It helps students establish correct political values.However,at present,universities in Xizang confront with a fact that college English teaching focuses too much on the introduction and dissemination of Western culture and ignores the role of Chinese culture in college English teaching.Starting from the necessity of college students in Xizang to tell the Xizang chapter of Chinese stories in English,this paper analyzes the content of the Xizang chapter of Chinese stories.It aims to provide reference for the reform of English teaching in universities,especially the reform of English teaching in universities in Xizang.
