Teaching Practice of Cultivating Cultural Critical Thinking Ability in English Major Writing Course

思辨能力是教育部反复强调的重要能力之一,忽视对母语文化的维护与传播是跨文化交际能力中思辨能力缺席的重要体现。文章论述了英语专业写作教学中加强母语文化教育的必要性,通过典型教学案例展示写作课堂中如何培养学生正确的跨文化思辨意识,在思辨性学习异国文化的同时传播和弘扬母语文化。

Critical thinking ability is one of the important abilities emphasized repeatedly by the Ministry of Education.The neglect of the maintenance and dissemination of mother tongue culture is an important manifestation of the absence of critical thinking ability in intercultural communication ability.This paper discusses the necessity of strengthening the education of mother tongue culture in the teaching of writing for English majors.Through typical teaching cases,it shows how to cultivate students'correct intercultural thinking consciousness in writing class,and spread and carry forward the mother tongue culture while learning foreign culture critically.
