摘要
文章以英国翻译理论家彼得·纽马克的交际翻译理论为指导,通过分析所选文章的词汇和句法,结合翻译实例讨论适合科技英语文体的翻译技巧和方法,进一步研究了科技英语的语言特点,以期提高译文质量,并对科技英语的翻译提供一定的借鉴。
Guided by the communicative translation theory of Peter Newmark,a British translation theorist,this paper discusses translation techniques and methods suitable for the genre of scientific and technological English by analyzing the vocabulary and syntax of the selected articles,and discussing translation techniques and methods suitable for the genre of scientific and technological English in conjunction with some examples of translations,and further researches into the linguistic characteristics of scientific and technological English to improve the quality of the translations,and providing certain reference for scientific and technological English translations.
