An Approach to English Grammar Teaching Guided by POA——Taking the Relative Clause as an Example

语法在大学英语教学中起着至关重要作用。传统的语法教学方法过度注重理论,忽视了交际需求。在POA理论指导下,文章以英语定语从句为知识切入点,遵循文秋芳教授提出的三个教学流程:驱动、促成和评价,设计出一套完整的语法教学流程,旨在从一种新的角度改进语法教学,提高教学质量。

Grammar plays a significant role in English teaching in college.The traditional approaches of grammar teaching put a heavy emphasis on theories and practices,ignoring communicative needs and purposes.Under the guidance of POA,which attaches equal importance to learning and application,this teaching design focuses on the grammar point of English relative clause and follows the three teaching steps proposed by Prof.Wen:Motivating,Enabling and Assessing,aiming to improve grammar teaching from a new approach.
