基于“以赛促教、以赛促学、赛教融合”的英语专业人才培养模式探索与实践——以兰州交通大学为例

Probe and Practice of English Major Talent Training Model based on“Competition Promotes Learning and Teaching”——Taking Lanzhou Jiaotong University as an Example

英语类技能竞赛通过“以赛促教,以赛促学”在高校创新型人才培养过程中发挥着不可替代的作用。兰州交通大学外国语学院积极探索以“赛教融合”为突破口的人才培养模式改革实践,将技能竞赛与英语教学深度融合,旨在提高英语教学的时效性、针对性、实用性,帮助学生提升自身的市场竞争力与职业素养,助力理工类院校培养出更多契合社会经济发展要求的英语人才。文章通过分析“以赛促教、以赛促学、赛教融合”内涵与现实价值,运用于英语专业人才培养机制的实践策略和成效,以期为高校英语专业人才综合素养的提升培养提供些许可借鉴的建议。

English competitions play an irreplaceable role in the process of innovative talents cultivating through“promoting learning and teaching”.Foreign Languages Studies'school of Lanzhou Jiaotong University actively probes the reform in the talent training mode via“integration of competition and teaching”.The practice deeply integrates the English competition and teaching,aiming at enhancing the timeliness,practicability and pertinence of teaching,helping students improve their market competitiveness and professional literacy,and empowering universities of science and engineering to cultivate more talents that meet the requirements of social and economic development.This paper analyses the connotation and value of the“competition promotes learning and teaching”notion,the practical strategies and effectiveness of its application,in order to provide some suggestions for the improvement and training of English majors'comprehensive quality.
