摘要
作为口译产品中的一种特殊表征,副语言的存在影响口译质量,同时也体现了一定的口译策略。文章基于自建语料库,对比分析学生译员与教师译员英译汉视译产品中的副语言信息,包括语速、填充词与段首停顿三个指标。研究发现,学生译员段落语速与平均语速差距大于教师译员的表现;资深译员倾向于使用策略性填充词“呢”,且在段首停顿中更多采用补充性衔接的停顿方式。
As a special representation of interpreting products,paralanguage affects the quality of interpreting and reflects certain interpreting strategies.Based on the self-built corpus,this paper makes a comparative analysis of paralinguistic information in English to Chinese sight translation between teachers and students,including speed,fillers and pre-paragraph pauses.The results show that the gap in paragraph speed and average speed of student interpreters is larger than that of teacher interpreters.The experienced interpreters are more likely to use strategic fillers and to use complementary pauses at the beginning of each paragraph.
