摘要
文章旨在调查英语专业学生的第二外语学习投入状况,233名英语专业的学生参与了问卷调查。研究显示:①学生情感投入最高,然后是行为投入,认知投入相对较低;②学生同时拥有较高水平的学习投入和脱离投入,学习投入和脱离投入是两个不同的构念,高水平的学习投入不会导致低水平的脱离投入;③毕业后的计划、自我感知在教师和同伴眼里的第二外语水平都会影响学生第二外语的学习投入。文章结果揭示了英语专业学生第二外语的学习投入状况,并为如何开展第二外语教学提供了启示。
This study aims to investigate the learning engagement of English major students toward second foreign language.233 English major students participated in a questionnaire survey.The study revealed that:①participants manifested the highest emotional engagement,followed by behavioral engagement,and relatively lower cognitive engagement;②Students represented both high levels of learning engagement and disengagement,which are two distinguishable constructs.High level of learning engagement does not lead to the low level of disengagement;③The plan after graduation and participants'FL2 level in the eyes of teachers and peers perceived by themselves could affect students'learning engagement toward second foreign language.The research findings showed the profile of English majors'learning engagement toward second foreign language and provided implications on how to carry out second foreign language teaching.
