摘要
文章以天津地方特色小吃名称为研究对象,阐述在目的论指导下天津特色小吃名称翻译的策略与方法。翻译策略的选择是由翻译目的决定的。基于文化传播、提升销量两个主要目的,在目的论指导下,天津小吃名称的翻译应采用归化为主异化为辅的策略,遵循目的论三原则,使用直译、意译、音译、加注、类比、多种翻译方法混合等翻译方法。
With Tianjin flavor snacks name as the research object,this paper aims to study the translation of Tianjin flavor snacks name under the guidance of the Skopos theory.The purpose of the translation determines the strategies and methods used in the translation action.With sales promotion and cultural transmission as main purpose,translators should basically adopt domestication and use foreignization as supplementary in translating Tianjin flavor snacks.Commonly-used translation method includes literal translation,free translation,transliteration,annotation,and a variety of translation methods mixed.Under the guidance of the Skopos theory,the translation of Tianjin snack names should follow the skopos rule,coherence rule and fidelity rule.
