跨文化视角下的英汉翻译隐喻差异对比

隐喻作为目前常用的修辞方式,其是通过事物之间的转换与描述,翻译出符合文字或内容叙述的载体,帮助读者全面了解到作品或文字中的内涵。在英汉翻译过程中应当综合考虑到文化、历史环境、民俗习惯等存在的差异性,结合隐喻的思想点及翻译点,正确匹配出与文字、文章、作者思想相关联的主体内容。基于此,文章立足跨文化视角,分析英汉隐喻文化,对隐喻差异的文化进行比较,并对英汉隐喻翻译原则及策略进行研究。

Metaphor,as a commonly used rhetorical method at present,is to translate the carrier of text or content narrative through the transformation and description between things,to help readers to fully understand the connotation of works or words.In the process of English and Chinese translation,the differences in culture,historical environment,folk customs should be comprehensively taken into account,combining the metaphorical thoughts and translation points,and correctly match the main content related to words,articles and author’s thoughts.Therefore,based on the cross-cultural perspective,this paper analyzes the metaphor culture of English and Chinese metaphor,compares the culture of metaphor differences,and studies the principles and strategies of English and Chinese metaphor translation.
