关联理论框架下《江雪》英译本的对比赏析

格特(Gutt)基于斯珀伯与威尔逊(Sperber&Wilson)提出的关联理论,首次将其应用于翻译领域并提出了关联翻译理论。文章基于关联理论框架,从认知语境、交际意图以及最佳关联三个角度对《江雪》许渊冲和林健民的两种英译本进行对比赏析。研究发现,二者的译本在贴近关联理论的标准下各有千秋。

Gutt,based on the Relevance Theory proposed by Sperber&Wilson,applied it to the field of translation for the first time and put forward Relevance-Theoretic Translation Theory.In the framework of Relevance Theory,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the two English versions of Jiangxue by Xu Yuanchong and Lin Jianmin from the perspectives of cognitive context,communicative intention and optimal relevance.It is found that the two versions have their advantages under the criterion of Relevance Theory.
