大学英语教育中的“中国文化失语”现状分析

随着英语语言逐渐普及,英语学科早已成为大学基础学科,对提升学生的学术水平与应用技能都有重大的意义。但是英语语言也是一种文化,经历了漫长的历史积淀,是人类多元互动的结果。因此在大学英语的常规教学中,不能仅仅围绕英语的语法功能和英语国家的基本习俗与制度等知识来引导学生学习,而是应该站在跨文化交际的层面,在两种或多种文化的对话中,让学生习得语言知识与有益的人文素养,透过英语文化的镜像,更加深刻地理解中国文化,但是大学英语教育中的"中国文化失语"已然不容忽视。因此文章将全面描述文化失语的现象,追溯根源,并给出相应的解决对策。

With the gradual popularization of English language,English has become a basic discipline in universities,which is of great significance to improve students.academic level and application skills.However,English language is also a kind of culture,which has experienced a long historical accumulation and is the result of human pluralistic interaction.Therefore,in the routine teaching of College English,teachers should not only guide students.learning about the grammatical function of English and the combination of basic customs and systems of English speaking countries,but should stand at the level of cross-cultural communication and enable students to acquire language knowledge and beneficial humanistic quality in the dialogue between two or more cultures,and to get a deeper understanding of Chinese culture through the mirror image of English culture.However,"Chinese Cultural Aphasia"in College English education can not be ignored.Therefore,this paper will comprehensively describe the phenomenon of cultural aphasia,trace the root causes,and give the corresponding countermeasures.
