摘要
全人教育作为一种教育的新思潮,强调学生的全面发展,得到了国内外众多教育学者的认可和支持。全人教育理念在国外的教育中已经逐渐普及,但国内的全人教育研究目前还处于早期开始阶段。文章初步梳理了全人教育的研究成果,简要分析全人教育与英语教学结合的可行性,旨在挖掘全人教育理念对国内大学英语教学的有益启示。
As a new educational thought,holistic education emphasizes the overall development of individuals.comprehensive qualities,which recently has received increasingly extensive attention by scholars,and has also been supported by educators.Though the concept of holistic education has been widely investigated abroad,both theoretical and empirical research on holistic education is scarce and still at an early stage in China.This paper discusses major studies on holistic education,and analyzes the feasibility of combining holistic education with English teaching,aims to explore the implications of holistic education for college English teaching in China.
