基于交际翻译理论的科技翻译省译策略

科技文本的字幕翻译有着与众不同的特点,既包括了字幕翻译的即时性、交际性的特征,也包括科技翻译中的逻辑性和准确性的特征。这些特征对译者提出了更高的要求。文章以交际翻译理论为视角,以大学慕课平台上的课程字幕翻译为例,探讨省译的策略在科技类文本的字幕翻译中的运用。

Subtitle translation of scientific texts features both the immediate and communicative characteristics of subtitle translation,and the logical and accurate characteristics in scientific translation,which places higher requirements for translation.Based on the communicative translation theory,subtitle of the courses on MOOC platform is selected as cases,this paper discusses the omission translation strategy in subtitle translation of scientific texts.
