摘要
本研究采用华生-格来泽思辨评估量表,对天津某医学院校247名本科生进行了思辨技能测试。客观题测试结果显示,学生的思辨技能并未随着年级的升高而逐步提高,但同其自身英语语言水平呈正相关;入学录取分数高的学生在思辨技能方面表现相对突出。在被测试的五大思辨技能中,学生在评价、假设认可、解释能力方面表现差距不明显,在演绎能力方面更为擅长,在推理能力方面得分偏低。主观题(写作)测试结果显示学生存在论证偏离主题、推理不够严谨及缺乏有效举例论证等思辨缺陷。统计结果为医学院校针对本科生思辨技能现状制定有针对性的培养策略提供了数据支持,并指明了方向。
This study adopts the Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal to test 247 undergraduates from a medical university in Tianjin.The objective test results show that students’critical thinking skills have not gradually improved as the grade level increases,but they are positively correlated with their own English language proficiency.Students with high admission scores have better performance in the objective test.Among the five major critical thinking skills being tested,students have no obvious difference in argumentation,assumption and interpreting information.They are better at deduction,but inference is underperformed.Subjective test(writing)results show that students have critical thinking defects such as deviating reasoning from the claim,insufficient reasoning,and lack of effective examples for argumentation.The statistical results provide data support for medical schools to formulate targeted training strategies based on the status quo of undergraduates’critical thinking skills.
