文化、权力、伦理与音译——音译与三大“转向”的历时性研究

当代翻译界出现了多种"转向"快速交替的现象,从二十世纪八九十年代的"文化转向"到二十一世纪初的"权力转向",再到近几年兴起的"伦理转向"。不同时期汉英互为音译的现象与这些"转向"带来的不同翻译研究范式及方法之间有着密切的关系,因此,只有进行音译词汇与翻译三大"转向"的历时性研究,才能深入挖掘出翻译研究"转向"发展的理论意义及其对现实的指导作用。

Modern translation studies has undergone a number of“turns”,from the“cultural turn”,to the“power turn”,and then to the rise of the“ethics turn”.The transliteration of words between English and Chinese at different periods is closely related to the various translation paradigms brought by the different“turns”.In this sense,this paper attempts to discover theoretical and practical guidance for translation through a diachronic analysis of the relationship between transliteration and the“turns”.
