文化视角理论下的汉英语篇衔接分析——《一件小事》译文赏析

世界文化交流不断扩散,许多优秀的英汉作品通过翻译手段,让更多的人了解作品。文章以鲁迅的著名短篇小说《一件小事》及其杨宪益的英译文本为语料,从语篇、词汇和语境来对比分析译文的语篇衔接特点。分析汉英语篇翻译中的翻译策略,研究语篇及词汇运用中的文化习惯以及在刻画人物形象、揭示小说主题中的作用。

World cultural exchanges are constantly spread,and many excellent English and Chinese works get more people understand the works through translation.This article takes Lu Xun’s famous short story“A Small Incident”and its English translation version of Yang Xianyi as the corpus,and compares and analyzes the discourse connection characteristics of the translation from the discourse,vocabulary and context.It also analyzes the translation strategy in Chinese and English translation,and studies the cultural habits in the application of discourse and vocabulary,and the role in depicting the characters and revealing the theme of the novel.
