文化翻译观下《红楼梦》中医药文化负载词的英译研究

中国古典名著《红楼梦》包含了丰富的中医药文化内容,是民族文化的瑰宝。如何妥当处理其中的中医药文化负载词的英译,是译者要面对的一项挑战。文章以巴斯奈特的文化翻译观为视角,探讨中医药文化负载词的英译策略,以使译文在目的语文化中达到与源语文化中对等的功能,从而更好地促进中医药文化的对外交流和传播。

The Chinese classic"A Dream of Red Mansions"contains rich content of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM).It is a challenge for translators to properly deal with the TCM culture-loaded words.This paper,from the perspective of cultural translation,takes Yang translation and Huo translation as the research object,analyzes the translation strategies of TCM culture-loaded words,and explains how to achieve equivalent cultural function in the target language with that in the source language,so as to promote the communication and transmission of traditional Chinese medicine culture.
