经验功能视域下《夜雨寄北》两个英译本对比分析

文章基于经验功能,以《夜雨寄北》原文和两个英译本为研究对象,对比分析翟理斯与许渊冲两位译者的译文,进而探讨古诗英译的方法。《夜雨寄北》出自晚唐诗人李商隐,主要表达了诗人的孤寂与思念之情。及物性系统是经验功能的核心内容,包括六个过程、参与者和环境成分。对本诗进行及物性分析既可以检验系统功能语法在语篇分析方面的可操作性,亦可丰富对古诗英译的研究。

Based on the experiential function,the thesis aims to analyze the source text and the two target texts of Ye Yu Ji Bei.By comparing the two versions respectively by Herbert A.Giles and Xu Yuanchong,the thesis will discuss the translation of Classical Poetries.Ye Yu Ji Bei was written by Li Shangyin,mainly expressing the poet’s loneliness and longing for his wife.The Transitivity System stands as the core of experiential function,including six processes,participants and circumstances.The analysis will not only test Systemic Functional Grammar’s operability in textual analysis but also enrich the researches on the translation of Classical Poetries.
