概念隐喻理论视角下《傲慢与偏见》中身体隐喻翻译研究

隐喻在文学作品中普遍存在,概念隐喻理论基于认知语言学,为隐喻研究提供了新视角。文章采用定量和定性分析相结合的方法,对《傲慢与偏见》中身体隐喻特点进行研究,并从概念隐喻视角出发,对王科一和孙致礼的译本进行对比分析,进一步探讨英汉身体隐喻的异同,以期对今后的翻译实践提供借鉴。

Metaphor is prevalent in literature.Conceptual Metaphor Theory provides a brand-new way to study metaphor from the cognitive perspective.This paper adopts quantitative and qualitative analyses to study the characteristics of body-part metaphors in Pride and Prejudice as well as compare Wang Keyi and Sun Zhili’s translation versions from the perspective of Conceptual Metaphor Theory.It attempts to explore the similarities and differences between English and Chinese body-part metaphors,hoping to help with future translation practices.
