The artistic methods of translation are the most important applied theoretical study in translation studies.This paper explores the specific application of these opposite and complementary artistic methods in the practice of English translation of the poetry in terms of various means of Chinese-English bilingual conversion,such as integration and dispersion,smoothness and inversion,completion and absence,text and quality,straightforwardness and melody.
