As an universal language for communication in modern society,English plays an important role in students’learning and future career.In order to improve students’ability of English application and acquisition,colleges and universities generally integrate English teaching with English literature.The paper makes an in-depth study of the influence of English literature on the ability of college students’English acquisition and puts forward some strategies and measures to integrate English literature into modern English teaching.
