数学英语概念隐喻汉译的拟人取向

数学概念隐喻在数学语境中存在大量的拟人隐喻现象。英汉数学文本中对于拟人隐喻的互通和差异表现出了翻译策略的差异性。隐喻翻译的成果已经十分丰富,但是鲜有对数学文本中概念隐喻的动词、名词拟人隐喻现象的分类研究。文章基于拟人隐喻角度,通过英汉概念隐喻翻译实例,研究数学英语概念隐喻中的拟人隐喻,探讨数学概念隐喻词汇的翻译策略。

Mathematical concept metaphors have a large number of anthropomorphic metaphors in the context of mathematics.The intercommunication and differences of anthropomorphic metaphors in English and Chinese mathematical texts show the differences in translation strategies.The achievements of metaphor translation are rich,but there are few studies on the anthropomorphic phenomena of verbs,nouns,and adjectives of conceptual metaphors in mathematical texts.Based on the perspective of anthropomorphic metaphors,this paper uses English-Chinese conceptual metaphor translation examples to study anthropomorphic metaphors in mathematical English conceptual metaphors,explores the translation strategies of mathematical conceptual metaphors,and hopes to provide references for scientific and technological text translation research.
