主题式教学在应用型高校大学英语教学中的实验研究——以滇西应用技术大学为例

摘要 针对应用型高校培养高技能、高水平的国际化人才的培养目标要求,大学英语教学改革势在必行。主题式教学模式是将目标语言与有意义的话题、内容有机结合的教学模式,能促使学生在实际应用中学习目标语言,能更好地提升英语实际运用能力。文章以新建应用型高校滇西应用技术大学为例,通过在非英语专业大一学生中开展主题式教学模式教学实验研究,通过实验班与对照班的对比分析,得出主题式教学对于提高学生英语学习成绩,激发学习兴趣和改善学习态度方面皆有积极影响,从而进一步验证此教学模式的可行性。 In view of the training goal of cultivating high-skilled and high-level international talents in applied colleges and universities,the reform of college English teaching is imperative.The thematic teaching mode is a teaching mode that combines the target language with meaningful topics and contents,which can promote students to learn the target language in practical way and improve their practical ability.This paper takes the new applied university of western Yunnan University of Applied Technology as an example,through the experimental study of thematic teaching model among non-English major freshmen,through the comparative analysis of experimental class and control class,and it is concluded that thematic teaching has a positive effect on improving students’English learning achievement,arousing learning interest and improving learning attitude,thus further verifying the feasibility of this teaching model.
