The study of noun clauses is one of the important and complicated points the English majors are facing.By applying multi-modal teaching mode mainly based on task-based language teaching,the paper discusses how to guide learners to make use of movies,TV drams and songs as good materials for the study of noun clauses and how teachers could use them as resources to teach.In the new age of advanced technology,English teachers are to find a new way to teach noun clauses,to create an interesting,practical and active teaching environment,so as to trigger students’interest and finally to enable students to have a good command of the noun clauses.
