摘要
全球不断融合对既具有专业知识,同时又有英语应用能力的复合型国际化人才需求急剧增加,传统仅以语言能力为教学目标的大学英语已无法满足时代需求。ESP课程成为大学英语改革的必经之路,如何将ESP课程打造成满足时代需求,符合学生发展的金课值得探究。文章在厘清ESP课程概念的基础上,结合国家和学者对金课的界定,探究出六条ESP金课标准。在标准的指导下,文章从以下方面提出ESP金课建设路径:多模块大学英语课程设置;切适的教学内容与教材;项目驱动式教学方法;混合(线上线下)教学模式;多方位评价体系;互助式教师共同体。
With the development of globalization,the world has a great demand for the talents with both professional knowledge as well as English ability.Traditional language teaching could no longer meet such needs.ESP(English for Specific Purpose)courses are necessary in the path of English education reform and it is worth exploring how to design ESP courses to meet the needs of the society and students simultaneously.This passage,firstly,clarifies the concept and ESP courses,then integrate the definition of gold courses proposed by Education Ministry and other scholars,come up with six criteria for ESP gold courses.Under the guidance of these criteria,this passage probes into the construction of ESP courses from the following aspects:multi-module college English course design;appropriate teaching contents and materials;project-driven teaching method;blended(online+offline)teaching mode;multidirectional evaluation system;reciprocal supportive teaching community.
