大学英语在线教学中的思辨能力评价活动研究——基于布鲁姆教育目标分类法的研究

大学英语教育对于发展学生的思辨能力、培养学生在各自专业领域的国际竞争力具有重要意义。作为教师教学的重要环节,评价活动不仅应反映学生当前的学习水平,也应通过杠杆作用来促进学生的思辨能力。目前,大学英语线下课堂的思辨能力活动与评估已得到学界的关注,而线上课堂中的相关研究则是一个较新的领域。文章旨在研究目前在线大学英语课程中如何对学生思辨能力进行评估。研究收集10位大学英语教师所提供的线下课程与线上课程评估任务,并依据布鲁姆教育目标分类法对其内容进行编码,分析其中涉及的思辨能力任务。研究发现,与传统的线下课堂评价任务相比,线上课堂任务所涉及的思辨能力任务频次更高。

College English education is of great significance to the development of students’critical thinking(CT)skills and the cultivation of students’international competitiveness in their respective professional fields.As an important part of teaching,evaluation activities should not only reflect the current learning level of students,but also leverage the testing effect to promote students’critical thinking.At present,people lay more emphasis on the CT-related activities and evaluations of traditional college English class,but less on online class.This paper aims to study whether teachers assess students’CT skills on online college English courses and if yes,what their ways are.The research collected the offline and online evaluation tasks provided by 20 college English teachers,and coded the data according to the revised Bloom’s taxonomy.The results show that compared with the traditional offline class,online class tasks involve higher frequency of CT tasks.
