语言学习与移动技术:英语专业学生移动学习探究

随着数字化的普及,移动设备已经成为人们生活中不可或缺的部分,英语学习和手机、平板电脑等交互型移动设备的关系也日益紧密。移动学习方便英语学习者利用碎片化时间自主进行语言训练,也使教师能够更灵活地进行语言教学。文章运用问卷调查的方式,调查了广州科技职业技术大学英语专业学生移动学习现状,研究发现大部分学生对移动终端辅助语言学习的功能非常熟悉,对移动学习的积极影响持肯定态度。此外,学生对教师组织移动学习的反馈为提高教师移动学习知识水平和结合移动设备进行英语教学的能力提供了指导意义。

With the wide spread of digitalization,mobile devices have become an indispensable part of modern human life,so the relationship between English learning and mobile technology,such as mobile phone and iPad,has been tightened.Mobile learning,a rising filed of academic research,enables both educators and learners to instruct and conduct language learning without restrictions of time and space.This study,through the method of questionnaires,surveyed the status quo of mobile learning among English majors from Guangzhou Vocational and Technical University of Science and Technology.It is found that the majority of respondents are familiar with the functions of mobile assisted language learning and have soon started to recognize its positive effect.Additionally,the respondents’feedback on their impressions on mobile learning instructed by their teachers provide pedagogical significance to how to improve English teachers’mobile learning literacy and ability of integrating mobile learning into their course design.
