生态翻译学视域下傈僳族文化负载词英译研究

傈僳族是中国西南部一个少数民族,其独特的历史文化、风俗习惯、文化信仰赋予了傈僳语独特的、有文化意蕴的语言表达,即文化负载词。文化负载词的英译有助于向英语国家的读者传播傈僳族独特的风土人情和民族文化。文章从傈僳族服饰文化、节日习俗和社会风俗等方面选取若干典型的傈僳族文化负载词,从生态翻译学视角出发,利用"语言、文化、交际"三维适应、选择和转换的基本翻译方法,对傈僳族文化负载词的英译进行研究。

Lisu minority is one of minority ethnic groups in southwestern China. Lisu people’s unique history and culture,custom and religion has bestowed their language with special expressions with cultural implication,known as cultureloaded words. The Chinese-English translation of the Lisu culture-loaded words is conducive to the spreading of its unique custom and culture of the group. Citing Lisu-specific words from the groups’ dressing custom,festival custom and social custom,this article explores their translation from the perspective of Eco-translatology. Based on the three dimensions of language,culture and communication advocated in Eco-translatology,the article discusses how to adapt,select and transform the Lisu culture-loaded words in the process of translation.
