从梅肖尼克的翻译诗学探究《楚辞》英译

作为我国文学史上第一部具有浪漫主义色彩的诗歌集,《楚辞》一直被誉为中国浪漫主义文学的代表。"楚辞"最开始不是指这部诗歌集,而是泛指楚地的歌辞,汉代以后才演变为专称,特指以战国时期楚国屈原的诗歌为代表的一种新诗体。由于它所具有的独特魅力以及在文学史上的特殊地位,不少译者对《楚辞》进行过翻译。但由于它极为丰富的文化内涵以及独特的诗体风格,现在的英译研究走进了一个瓶颈。文章尝试用法国学者亨利·梅肖尼克提出的翻译诗学,分析现行认同度较高的《楚辞》三个英译本,旨在为今后的《楚辞》翻译探寻新的思路。

As the first romantic poetry collection in the Chinese literature history,Chuci( also translated The Songs of South) is the resource of Chinese romantic literature. The word "Chuci"refers to the songs or poems in the Chu area originally,and then it is gradually defined as the style of poems written by Qu Yuan,who is a great patriotic poet of Chu. On account of the unique charming and the position in the Chinese literature history,a lot of translators have translated and studied Chuci. But the studies have met a bottleneck because of the affluent cultural connotations and characteristic style. This paper tries to find a new idea of translating Chuci by analyzing three different versions under the poetics of translation raised by Henri Meschonnic,a great French translator.
