大学英语教学中跨文化意识的培养路径初探

大学英语是高等教育的重要学科,在教育过程中可以培养学生的跨文化意识,使学生对语言与文化之间的联系更为清晰。这既是学科教育的需要,也是实现学生素质教育的重要途径。在实际教学中,教师应该结合学生的实际,根据学生的不同特点进行不同的教学方法。因为我国大多数高校学生的跨文化意识都较为薄弱,在英语的交流中,往往由于不了解语言文化背景而产生各种误区,而产生冒失或者是失礼的现象。因此,培养学生的跨文化意识有着十分重要的意义。文章主要对高校英语教学中跨文化意识的培养途径进行简单的分析。

College English is an important subject in higher education.It can cultivate students’multi-culture consciousness and make the connection between language and culture clearer.This is not only the need of displine education,but also an important way to enhance students’quality.In practical teaching,teachers should carry out effective teaching methods according to students’different characteristics.Most college students in our country have weak cross-cultural consciousness and know little about the language and cultural background,therefore the phenomenon of rash action and impoliteness could appear during the communication of English.Therefore,it is of great significance to cultivate students’crosscultural awareness.This paper makes a brief analysis of the ways to cultivate cross-cultural awareness in college English teaching.
