在信息和通信技术(ICT)高速发展的今天,人们对语言和交流的观念已经发生了巨大变化,交流方式也发生了很大变化。成长在信息化社会里的新一代学习者习惯于以新的感官模式和多种学习方式来完成各学科的学习,为了更好地引导他们阅读、赏析英语诗歌,教师有必要将多模态教学法应用于英语诗歌教学中。多模态课程涉及使用多媒体和ICT来开发动态的课程资源。文章就英语诗歌教学中多模态教学法的具体开展方式进行了探讨,包括视觉和印刷媒体混合、视频和音频材料、超链接文本等的应用。

Nowadays,with the rapid development of information and communication technology(ICT),the concept of language and communication has tremendously changed,so as the way of communication.The new generation of learners who are growing up in the information society are accustomed to learne various disciplines with new sensory models and multiple methods.In order to better attract and guide students to read and appreciate English poetry,teachers need to apply the multimodal approach to the teaching of English poetry.A multimodal curriculum involves the use of multimedia and ICT to develop dynamic curriculum resources.This article explores the specific ways of applying multimodal teaching approach in English poetry teaching,including blending visual and print media,video and audio materials,hypertexts,etc.
