顺应论视域下许渊冲《春江花月夜》英译本研究

唐诗是中华非物质文化的重要组成部分,唐诗的英译对于中华文化的传播影响深远。语言学家耶夫·维索尔伦提出的顺应论,为翻译研究提供了新的研究视角。在顺应论指导下,翻译要顺应原文的语言结构和语言语境、顺应交际语境以及顺应文化语境。文章从词汇、句法和文化语境三个层面对《春江花月夜》许渊冲英译本进行探析,旨在揭示将顺应论运用于诗歌英译能更准确传神地传递诗歌的意境,使读者感受诗歌的美,传递中国古典文化。

Tang poetry is an important part of the Chinese intangible culture,and translating it into English has a profound influence on the spread of the Chinese culture. The Adaptation Theory proposed by the linguist Jef Verschueren provides a new study perspective for translation. Under the guidance of the theory,translation should conform to the linguistic structure,linguistic context,communicative context and cultural context of the source text. This paper discusses Xu Yuanchong’s English version of "The Night of Flowers on a River in Spring"from three aspects,that is vocabulary,syntax and cultural context. It aims to reveal that the application of the Adaptation Theory in poetry translation can more accurately convey the artistic conception of poetry,so that readers can feel the beauty of poetry,which can help effectively convey the Chinese classical culture.
